Emporwering lives through the transformative power of innovative reading, understanding, & Action

Very Important Books

  • Empowering Literacy: Partnering with local schools to rehome quality discarded books.

  • Community Focused: Strengthening education and fostering a love for reading.

  • Sustainable Practices: Reducing waste by recycling and redistributing books.

  • Inclusive Selection: Offering diverse reading materials for all ages.

  • Local Engagement: Supporting local school districts and community initiatives.

At V.I.B., our mission is clear: to empower youth by equipping them with the mindset and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the adult world, particularly in an entrepreneurial environment. Our vision is rooted in the belief that with the right mindset, anything is possible.

Moreover, our partnership extends beyond educational initiatives. Together, we are actively engaged in community outreach efforts, including the distribution of books throughout Houston, TX, and the surrounding areas. By providing our youth with access to these invaluable resources, we are not only promoting literacy but also empowering them to reach their full potential.

Books are only the beginning. As we expand and grow to our full potential, V.I.B. hopes to ultimately fund and enact its “Read the Room” initiative. “Read the Room” will be a program that teaches youth networking skills through the power of literacy, helping them to draw inspiration from their favorite stories and to bring those stories to fruition in their own lives. This initiative is our next step in turning potential into possibility, and we can wait to equip our students with these valuable skills.
